Early weapon designs for Every Day We Fight. Intended for use by 'Thorns' resistance faction, the idea was for them to use an oddball collection of scavenged and found weapons, new and old. Especially in early sketches I used a fair bit of photobashing to establish a 'familiar but distinct' look for each weapon, which would then be refined further by hand to get a more unique aesthetic.
The player characters were initially supposed to each have a dedicated weapon loadout, but since we hadn't figured out yet whether the player would be able to customize and upgrade the weapons as part of their progression most of these weapon designs weren't developed further than their initial sketches for the vertical slice.
